Hi I'm Joe Hawthorne I have been fired from schlotizakys in Brownwood Texas because of my boss the man with the red hair had called me retarded in public and was laughing at me because of my disability in public with other managers because he had told me that I was a retarded stupid A dumb black stupid lazy *** and a unintelligent because of my working skills in the fast food industry that really hurts my feelings because of my store manager had told me including the his boss that about me I'm the lobby yesterday around 11am when I was getting ready for work just because I was a stupid no good mental retarded *** to him and that was all I needed to hear the store manager at Schlotizakys was cussing me out and bullying me on purpose just to get an reaction out of me he has red hair and black eyes he is always making fun of my disability he has told his boss that I was a stupid retardation coworker right in front of people and employees they all was laughing at me just because I was let go because of my learning disability and plus my manager had called me unfit for the job which means I was a stupid retarded coworker with a stupid learning disability my managers kept on that me calling me a stupid retarded coworker that did not know how to keep up the paste and was laughing at me when I tried to explain myself about my disability to him he kept on laughing at me in public because he had let me go and called me a stupid retarded coworker in front of the customers and employees on purpose laughing at my disability over and over and over and over and over and over and over again nonstop he was in lobby and took me that I was fired and called me a stupid retarded coworker that he had ever worked with he never ever took the time to work with me on sandwiches because of my learning disability he told me that I was unfit for the job which means I was a stupid retardation coworker that he has ever worked with which hurts my feelings and he kept on laughing at me in front of everyone on purpose my ex manager has red hair and black eyes he is the owner at Schlotizakys in Brownwood Texas 76801 he made fun of my learning disability to other managers on purpose in front of everyone when I had told him about my learning disability on my application he still kept on talking to other coworkers and managers about my learning disability so they can make fun of me on purpose in public right in front of customers I felt humiliated because of this manager who kept on harassing me about my disability and work ethic to his managers and told them that I was a lazy stupid retarded coworker that he has ever worked with and stated laughing at me when he had fired me yesterday around 11am and told me to get my check and leave when I started to cry because of his prejudice remarks about my disability my work skills and my skin color this is a very very very very hurtful thing that I have ever witnessed from a manger at Schlotizakys that makes fun of people with learning disabilities in public on purpose with no remorse at all towards workers who tries their best on moving fast to keep up the paste this is no laughing matter at all I was humiliated by my manager at Schlotizakys yesterday morning around 11am just because he was not impressed with my work skills and made fun of me in public on purpose over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again nonstop my manager kept on calling me a stupid retarded coworker who keeps on messing up orders when I was trying my best trying to keep up my manager is very very very very racist towards people with learning disabilities and has been for years my ex store manager had told me that I was a stupid retarded coworker who needed to get fired in front of customers inside the lobby I felt humiliated in front of customers and employees my manager kept on harassing me nonstop on purpose because of my learning disability and work skills the store owner of Schlotizakys kept on laughing at me on purpose and In public in front of customers and employees for no rea son at all and kept bullying me in front of his boss on purpose I was crying my eyes out and my store manager kept on laughing at me and my learning disability just to get a reaction out of me on purpose this was nonstop I had told him to stop but he kept on going and going and going until I broke down in front of everyone and that's when my ex store manager had told me that I was a stupid retarded coworker that was unfit for the job which means he had called me a retarded person on purpose and told his managers that I was not rehireable because of my learning disability And me being a stupid mental retarded coworker that he has ever worked with at Schlotizakys I take this stuff extremely extremely serious this is no laughing matter my manager the young man with long red hair had been harassing me on purpose about my learning disability and called me a stupid retarded *** on purpose and kept laughing at me nonstop to his other coworkers customers and his manager I had try to explain to him about my situation but he kept on laughing at me nonstop in front of customers employees and his managers nonstop just because he had let me go Around 11am yesterday morning and did not show no remorse about my learning disability and work skills at all when I had alot of respect from customers and EMPLOYEES AT all times I got 20 years of experience at McDonald's cicis pizza and Taco Bell my manager from Schlotizakys never ever ever ever ever respected my work skills and learning disability when he had confronted me yesterday morning around 11am when I was getting ready to clock in to work and kept making fun of me on purpose in public inside the store in front of his boss employees and customers just so I can feel humiliated in front of everyone my manager kept on calling me a stupid retarded coworker nonstop inside the lobby and was laughing at me on purpose when I confronted him about letting me go but my store manager kept on calling me a stupid retarded coworker that will never ever ever be rehireable at his store period the young manager with red hair at Schlotizakys he told me that I would never ever be a good fit for Schlotizakys because of my learning disability and plus me being a stupid retarded coworker that he has ever ever worked with period . My store manager at Schlotizakys is very very hateful and prejudice towards people like me with learning disabilities And will not except people like me at his workplace with a Learning disability and slow work ethic that is to stupid and retarded to keep up the paste with other coworkers. I have a promo code for BOGO free for a full year. The store said to activate by January.

When I entered the code, I got an error. I called and waited on hold. The guy who picked up said he couldn't hear me and hung up. I called again and waited even longer.

The girl who answered was very hard to understand . She told me the promo was over and there was nothing she could do. I asked for a supervisor. After waiting on hold she came back and said her supervisor would call me.

I believe the store should provide a new code. When you pay for a promo that's good for a year, it shouldn't expire for a year.

I was let go at Schlotzky's this morning around 11 a.m. The store manager had called me a stupid, retarded person on purpose in public and was making fun of me because of my learning disability.

He told his boss that I was retarded and unfit for the job, which means a stupid, useless, retarded coworker with a learning disability who is an MHMR patient. I have never, ever in my life had a store manager that cussed me out and called me a stupid, retarded coworker who does not do things right at all and has a stupid learning disability. That is an MHMR patient that needs to be put away in a mental asylum.

It really hurts my feelings that the store manager said this to me just to get me fired on purpose because of my learning disability and was laughing at me because of my disability. He was telling the corporate office about my learning disability and was laughing at me in public with customers in the lobby.

THE SCHLOTSKYS IN SUGARLAND, TX ON UNIVERSITY BLVD HAS AN ORIENTAL FEMALE WEARS A BLACK FRAMED PAIR OF GLASSES ALWAYS HAVE A DON'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED, DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE ATTITUDE.I ASKED HER FOR HER NAME, AND SHE RESPONDED, "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" ON SUNDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 19, 2025, I ORDERED A TURKEY AVOCADO SANDWICH WITH EXTRA MUSTARD, AND WHEN SHE BROUGHT MY SANDWICH TO ME, I OPENED IT AND THE SANDWICH WAS SWAMPED IN MUSTARD, THE BREAD ALL CRUMBLED, ALL THE INSIDE ALL OUT OF THE SANDWICH! I ASKED THE EMPLOYEE TO HAVE ME ANOTHER SANDWICH MADE AT MY SATISFACTION, SHE REFUSED AND TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE MADE.

I ASKED FOR A REFUND, SHE REFUSED. I TOLD HER I WAS NOT LEAVING UNTIL I RECEIVE ANOTHER SANDWICH OR MY MONEY BACK.

I ASKED FOR A MANAGER AND SHE YELLED, "THERE'S NOT A MANAGER HERE!" I ASKED HER WHAT WAS HER NAME, SHE SAID, "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!"

I'VE CALLED THE SCHLOTSKYS THE NEXT MORNING TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, THERE WAS NO MANAGER THERE. I CALLED SEVERAL NUMBERS TO GET THE CORPORATE OFFICE NUMBER 800-846-****, IT DOESN'T WORK!
